OIC appoints special envoy for Kashmir

Internationalizing the issue yet again, Pakistan has been successful in convincing the Islamic world of 57 countries (OIC) to appoint a special envoy on Jammu and Kashmir; for which the decision was taken following the meeting of its Contact Group at the UN headquarters. 
 

The appointment of Abdullah Bin Adbul Rahman Al Bakr, a Saudi national has been made, as the Special envoy of Organization of Islamic Countries OIC on Jammu and Kashmir.
