Ratio is the comparison of two quantities of same kind of unit so the ratio has no unit. it is written as a : b where a and b are the two quantities in mathematics a:b = a/b
Let we have two ratios a : b and c : d if we multiple these ratios then we got ratio ac:bd which is called compounded ratio
Example compounded ratio of 2:3 and 3:4
Answer 2*3:3*4=6*12 =1:2
As per GMA is the subject which need more and more practice then the cramming so we are giving u some of practice problem to solve send there answer to us at not@sucessguruonline.com DON’T IGNORE AS 8% OF GS EXAM IS FROM THIS SECTION EVERY YEAR AND 33%TO 35% COUNTS FOR SELECTION

PROPORTION
THE STATEMENT EXPRESSING THE EQUALITY OF TWO RATIOS IS CALLED PROPORTION I.E IF A: B = C: D
MEAN PROPOTION BETWEEN A & B IS AB^1/2
IF A:B =B:C THEN C IS CALLED THIRD PROIPOTIN TO A &z B LET WE HAVE TO FIND THIRD PROPOTION TO 16 AND 24
THEREFORE IF X IS THE THIRD PROPOTION THEN 16/24=24/X THEREFORE X =24*24 /16 =36
